How to get started journaling and 4 things you can journal about

You don’t need fancy equipment to start writing in a journal…

All you need is just a pen and paper…

You can start by expressing some negative emotions, like anger or frustration.

Or you can write words of gratitude.

Simply start writing what you are grateful for today.

You can also write about how your day is going on…

It is simple to start with words like: “Here is what interesting happened today..”

The key is to write without censoring yourself.

No one needs to read your writings.

It is only for your eyes.

Here are 4 ideas for you:

  • Rise your mood by expressing gratitude: write 3 things you are grateful for today or in life in general 
  • Celebrate your wins by writing about a recent challenge you overcome successfully 
  • Instead of holding your emotions about someone, just writes an unsent letter to that person and don’t show it to anyone
  • Overcome doubts by writing down 3-5 positive affirmations and imagine them vividly in your mind
